Key points

  • Plan on average for 450 to 520 MAD per night from January to June and 760 to 850 MAD in July and August (LOCAGA register 2026, excluding cleaning).
  • For a stay without a car, choose Founty, the Marina or Agadir Bay, within walking distance of the beach.
  • Always compare the total price: cleaning, service fees and any deposit.
  • A home managed by a local team means a supervised arrival and help during your stay.

With more than 300 days of sunshine a year and a bay of nearly ten kilometres, Agadir is one of Morocco’s best-loved beach destinations. There is no shortage of choice for an Agadir holiday rental, from a studio in the city centre to a two-bedroom apartment with a pool facing the sea. Here is how to choose without getting it wrong.

What budget for each season?

According to the register of 84 homes managed by LOCAGA, the average nightly rate changes as follows in 2026 (excluding cleaning fees):

Which neighbourhood for which holiday apartment in Agadir?

  • Families without a car: Founty and Agadir Bay, residences with a pool and the beach on foot.
  • Couples who like to go out: the Marina and the seafront, restaurants and the promenade.
  • Small budget: Talborjt or Hay Mohammadi, with a taxi or a car for the beach.
  • Surf and nature: Taghazout and Tamraght, 20 minutes to the north. See our Taghazout and Tamraght guide.

Platform or direct booking?

Platforms (Airbnb, Booking) offer reviews and secure payment, but add service fees. Booking directly with an identified manager can work out cheaper, provided you check that they exist: address, phone number, Google reviews, contract or written confirmation. Never pay a deposit by bank transfer to a private individual you cannot identify.

The checklist before you book

  • The total price: nights, cleaning, service fees, deposit.
  • Check-in time and how the keys are handed over.
  • Air conditioning, heating and wifi.
  • The pool: opening times, heating, access for children.
  • Parking and the real distance to the beach.
  • Residence rules: ID, visitors, noise.
  • Recent reviews that mention cleanliness.
